Consulting for when work feels unsustainable

Work can feel overwhelming — especially when expectations are high, roles are unclear, or you’re figuring things out as you go. Maybe you’re freelancing and trying to build something sustainable without burning out. Maybe you’re managing people and realizing the complexities of delegation and communication. Or maybe you’re a business owner who’s unsure whether you’re set up correctly and seeking clarity about the future of your operations.

My consulting style is practical, thoughtful, and grounded in real-world experience. I help people step back and get clear on what’s actually happening at work — what’s working, what’s not, and where things are getting stuck. This isn’t about hustle or optimization for its own sake; it's about clarity, simplicity, and building systems and routines that support your goals and capacity.

Working together, we’ll look at your current setup, identify what needs attention, and make intentional decisions about how you work. I aim to bring steady guidance, straightforward feedback, and a sense of levity to work so you can move forward with confidence.

Who I Work With

I work with freelancers, small business owners, and individuals who want clearer structure, cleaner systems, and less stress around their work.

My background includes work in corporate consulting, start-ups, and self-employment. I bring a systems-oriented, pragmatic lens to this work while staying grounded in how people actually live and work.

While consulting is distinct from therapy, my training as a therapist gives me a strong foundation in communication, boundary-setting, and understanding how people function within systems — skills that are especially useful when working with teams, leadership, and complex work dynamics.

More Details

Consulting services are educational and advisory in nature and are separate from therapy. This work focuses on business structure, planning, and systems, not mental health treatment. I do not provide legal or tax advice and am happy to refer you to those resources as needed.

  • Rachel is one of the most intelligent people I have ever worked with in my career. It is rare to have her combination of IQ and EQ, and that skillset was invaluable to my growing startup. I tend to be a high-level thinker, and Rachel was amazing at distilling the details down into actionable steps. It helped give me clarity about every aspect of my business, and also confidence knowing I had Rachel on my team. She is an amazing strategist, thinker, and encourager. I can’t recommend her enough!
